BorinCasa ("we," "us," "our") provides smart-home installation services for rentals in Puerto Rico. This page explains what information we collect through borincasa.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. It applies to this website only — it is a plain-language description of our practices, not a substitute for legal advice.

What we collect

The only information this site collects is what you choose to type into the "Get a quote" form: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, municipality, property type, the tier or features you're interested in, number of mini-split zones, number of bedrooms/doors, and any notes you add.

How the form actually works: When you submit the quote form, the details you typed are sent to our website provider, Parcha Lab, which emails them to us at hola@borincasa.com and keeps a copy so a request is not lost if that email fails to arrive. That copy is private, is used only to answer you, and is never sold or shared for advertising. If your browser cannot reach us, the form falls back to opening a pre-filled message in your own email application instead, and nothing is sent until you press send there.

We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers on this site. The only thing stored in your browser is your English/Spanish language preference (via localStorage), which never leaves your device.

Why we collect it

Solely to prepare and send you a room-by-room quote for smart-home installation, and to follow up about your property if you request it. We do not use your information for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

Quote requests live in our business email inbox for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a customer, to support your installation. If you'd like your information deleted from our records, email us and we'll remove it, subject to any records we're legally required to retain (e.g., invoices).

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. It is not shared with third parties except: (a) our email provider, solely to deliver and store the message you send us, and (b) if legally required (e.g., a valid court order).

Your rights

Regardless of where you're located, you can ask us at any time to:

Tell you what information we have about you
Correct inaccurate information
Delete your information from our records
Stop contacting you about a quote request

Just email hola@borincasa.com — we'll handle it directly, no portal or form required.

Security

This site is served entirely over HTTPS. We don't ask for or store payment information, passwords, or government ID on this website.

Third-party fonts

This page loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) to display correctly. Google may log standard technical request data (like IP address) when your browser fetches these fonts, under Google's own privacy policy. We do not control or receive this data.

Children

BorinCasa's services are directed at property owners and are not intended for children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
